About MeThis is my first year at Coventry High School, and I could not be more excited about joining our district's team! I teach Algebra I and Advanced Algebra I and have made myself cozy in room 201. It is my hope to create a classroom environment that is fun, functional, and creative, one where students feel their ideas are valued and where they learn to be curious problem solvers. Our learning community centers on trying new things, being persistent, and collaboration. It is my hope to be an educator who is accessible, helpful, and inspiring to those I teach!
I think math has a lot to offer students, and much more beauty than we often acknowledge. Beyond its important practicality in everyday life, the vast depth and complexity of the subject offers endless possibilities for investigation. It is my intention to facilitate opportunities for students to see these fascinating aspects of math, and to maybe even learn to love them along the way! |
